WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) …
Newport Mental Health, a leading community mental health organization committed to transforming lives and fostering well-being, is seeking a talented and dedicated Grants Intern to join our team. As a Grants Intern, you will support the team with administrative functions as it pertains to grants. This is a semester-long internship from February to May 2026.
Essential Duties:
- Support with grant related fidelity monitoring.
- General administrative support as assigned by manager.
- Preparation of supporting documentation as needed.
- Other related grant support.
Requirements
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU…
- Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level.
- Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and the entire Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using an electronic health record and working in the mental health field is preferred.
