About the Role

JOB FUNCTION SUMMARY: 

Intern will work alongside their mentor and other staff members from the Marketing Department, learning how this department works within our company and what it takes to be successful in marketing, analytics, and precision technology.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gains knowledge of the core functions of a marketing team

• Utilizes integrated tools to prepare/send email communications and text notifications

• Creates and schedules social media posts

• Writes articles for the intranet and company newsletter

• Provides marketing support for the St. Baldrick’s and FMH Wire events

• Reviews and categorizes customer testimonials and updates repository

• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Must be enrolled at an undergraduate college or university, majoring in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field is preferred.

• Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Social Media platforms is desirable.
