Role Overview:

Join the Maintenance & Reliability team within Veranova for a dynamic 12-week summer internship focused on project engineering. Our program consists of a 10–12-week internship at our West Deptford, NJ location.

Core Responsibilities:       

  • Work closely with an experienced engineer to execute one or two specific projects which you will own from start to finish
  • Work on improving the site’s safety systems and procedures
  • Assist with other longer-term projects to achieve a well-rounded experience.
  • Manage internal and external work to complete projects within agreed-upon timelines and budget.
  • Carry out any other duties which are within the intern’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Qualifications: 

  • Working towards a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum Overall GPA of 2.7 required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a true career aspiration to be a leader
  • Demonstrate a safety culture mindset for improving the plant
  • Must be adaptable, strive for excellence, and demonstrate a positive attitude in the face of adversity
  • Strong interpersonal skills a must, coupled with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships to achieve results
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel required
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills essential 

 

Pay Range: $20 - $22 per hour
