At Electronic Systems, you’ll be among the brightest minds, working on the aerospace and defense industry’s most difficult problems.<br><br>We are looking for a Quality Engineering Intern in Manufacturing Product Assurance to implement tools and processes to ensure product or services meets the standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. You must be a self-starting problem solver who will utilize your analytical skills to find innovative solutions to quality-related issues. Strong communication skills are essential to understand requirements and expectations, make progress reports and present findings.<br><br>Intern Responsibilities may include:<br> <ul><li>Assist with defect data analytics and material to be presented by engineers</li><li>Perform quick-check assessments within manufacturing environment</li><li>Supplement microelectronics inspection training materials with newly released criteria illustrations</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering</li><li>Participate and interact with other interns in sector wide activities</li><li>Develop understanding of BAE Systems Quality Management System</li></ul>In this position, you will participate in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, where you will Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.<br><br>Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan.
