Job Purpose

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Business Transition team. This internship offers hands-on experience and an opportunity to learn about training and development. As an intern you will gain exposure in how to support the organization through learning and development and will develop skills in design training, organizational development and learning assessments. 

 

The Business Transitions Division is responsible for Support, develop and strengthen our organization through the creation of training materials and communications.

Key Accountabilities

Some key responsibilities and/or projects will include but not limited to

 

  • Draft, proofread, and edit corporate communications
  • Collaborate with staff members in creation of training materials
  • Provide recommendations for curriculum designs
  • Create graphic design/PowerPoint presentations
  • Support/administrative tasks for learning events

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

We are looking for inspiring students with diverse backgrounds and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic. As an Intern one must have knowledge or experience in: 

 

  • Creating training materials
  • Drafting and proofreading corporate communications
  • Graphic design
  • Desktop video production
  • PowerPoint creation

 

Other Technical Skills or Knowledge

  • MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Instructional Design
  • Adult learning theory
  • Drafting Corporate Communications
  • Familiarity with eLearning and video creation
  • Graphic Design

 

Pursuing a degree in Business, Organizational Communication, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Sociology, General Psychology.

 

Requirements for the program

  • Must be enrolled as a Senior, Master’s, or MBA student at an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Available to work onsite at our Torrance location.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, for a minimum duration 6–8 weeks (depending on school schedule).

 

Please note: There is no guarantee of full-time employment upon completion of the internship.

Paid Compensation $22.50 Undergrad, $29.25 Graduate students (no negotiation on compensation)
