The Finance Intern will support the External Manufacturing Finance team in various reporting activities including data extraction, loading, and analysis tasks, as well as month-end closing activities. This role provides hands-on experience in finance operations and exposure to tools and processes used in a manufacturing environment. The intern will also assist in project-based initiatives to enhance reporting and monitoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform reporting activities including data extraction, loading, and reporting tasks to support finance operations.

  • Assist with month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

  • Document processes and maintain accuracy in data handling.

Learning Outcomes

  • Hands-on experience in finance operations and exposure to financial tools.

  • Development of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills.

  • Enhanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management techniques.

  • Understanding of spend buckets and cost drivers within manufacturing finance.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with finance systems and reporting tools is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
