Do you want to take part in the development of the automotive of tomorrow?

The Purchasing team at Toyota Motor Europe can offer you this challenge. Located in the heart of Europe, Tool & Manufacturing Purchasing plays a key strategic role in the development of our future products, services. 

As an intern in our group, we will be looking for you to integrate quickly. You will have opportunity to be part of team that proceeds sourcing activities of new Toyota models. This position will allow you to have an insight into the most recent technical innovations and will enable you to get a deep understanding of how a leading multinational operates and interacts with numerous internal and external parties.

Your Profile

• • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Either have or are studying for a university degree in the area of Business,

  Purchasing or Engineering.

  • Have a business understanding and affinity with automotive products.
  • Are results driven and able to break down complex issues into manageable

  portions.

  • Have good communication, presentation and teamwork skills.
  • Are computer literate (MS Applications)

   

   

  As intern you will be expected to

   

  • Undertake projects to support the group. (i.e., Systems or procedure

  development, data organization, support communication with suppliers.)

  • Support buyers and admin with actual key Purchasing activities. (i.e., Sourcing, pricing, negotiations)
  • Communicate with related internal and external supplier contacts via

  various means (i.e., TEAMS, Mail, Microsoft applications Excel, Word,

  Powerpoint etc)

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
