Intern, Procurement

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The Procurement Intern will support the Procurement and Supply Chain team in executing day-to-day activities and key initiatives that enable efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to procurement, supplier management, and supply chain processes within a growing biopharmaceutical organization.</p> <p>The intern will work cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Legal, R&amp;D, Clinical, and Commercial, gaining practical experience and insight into how procurement and supply chain functions support the broader business.</p> <p><strong>Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support procurement and strategic sourcing activities through data collection, supplier comparisons, and analysis</li> <li>Assist with spend analysis, reporting, and dashboard preparation</li> <li>Help organize supplier documentation, contracts, and compliance materials</li> <li>Support supplier onboarding and performance tracking efforts</li> <li>Assist with supply chain planning, inventory, or operational analyses as needed</li> <li>Prepare presentations and summaries for internal stakeholders and leadership</li> <li>Participate in process improvement initiatives within procurement</li> </ul> <p><strong>Factors for Success:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or a related field</li> <li>Strong interest in procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or supply chain management</li> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with ERP or procurement systems is a plus</li> </ul> <p><strong>A Few Other Details Worth Mentioning:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The position will be based in our beautiful Irvine office, complete with a courtyard, table tennis, snacks and drinks, and occasional catered meals.
