About the Role

Overview

We are building the next generation of intelligent audio-video (AV) systems at QSC - a technology that combines AI, robotics perception, and professional AV to transform how people collaborate in hybrid meeting spaces. Our product VisionSuite is powered by multimodal AI and integrates robotics-style scene understanding with AV control to deliver dynamic, natural viewing experiences in meeting rooms, classrooms, and high-impact collaboration spaces.

We’re passionate about making AV systems smarter, more intuitive and more responsive - and your help keeping our lab running smoothly is key to that mission.

 

Responsibilities

  • Organize, maintain and improve AI- and robotics-enabled AV systems in a development lab
  • Set up and test rack-mounted and standalone hardware used for computer vision, robotics, and AV pipelines
  • Maintain and update the hardware inventory (devices, accessories, tools)
  • Ensure lab systems are functional, documented, and easy for engineers to use
  • (Optional) Build or contribute to software automations and/or tooling to improve hardware usage, testing, monitoring or reservation

Qualifications

  • You are a university student in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related field
  • You enjoy hands-on work with hardware
  • You have practical experience (e.g. PC building, server racks, AV setups, robotics projects or DIY electronics)
  • You are structured, reliable, and like keeping systems clean and well-organized
  • You are based in Zurich and available a few hours per week
