About the Role
Student in a B.Sc., B.A.Sc., B.Eng., B.Tech. or their Master equivalent programs specialized in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering or a related field. 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or Master's on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship Be available to work 40 hours per week during the summer or Co-Op term Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles Good understanding of any modern language: Python/C#/C++. While we don't expect mastery, the ability to write and understand code is important A keen interest in web development. Any exposure to React is a significant plus Basic understanding and experience with Git for version control Basic knowledge of Linux and its command-line interface Eagerness to learn and apply new software development skills in a practical setting Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong team and interpersonal skills Energy and drive to thrive in a dynamic product development environment Proficient English skills, both written and spoken Other useful skills: Experience with basic lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies Basic knowledge of wireless communication standards Understanding of analog/digital hardware building blocks The chance to use your skills and imagination to push the boundaries of what´s possible.
