Work term starts in May 2026 for 8 or 12-month period in Edmonton. </p><p>The CO-OP Student will support the Architecture Team in improving documentation quality and streamlining architecture processes. This role offers hands-on experience in enterprise architecture practices, governance, and process optimization, aligning with academic learning and professional development. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Who you are:</strong> </p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><strong>Must</strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;"> </span>be enrolled in a<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;"> </span>co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian university.<span> </span></li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Currently enrolled in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering). </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Excellent written communication and attention to detail. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Experience with Sharepoint, PowerBI and Office Suite would be an asset. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Powerpoint) is an asset. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><p>Interest in enterprise architecture concepts and IT governance. </p><p> </p></li></ul><p><strong>To apply:</strong> </p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Indicate on your resume how many months you are available for and that you are applying for the May 2026 Co-op Term. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;"><strong>Include your most recent transcript in your application.</strong> </li></ul><p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;"> </span> </p><p><strong>What you will do: </strong></p><p><strong>1. Architecture Documentation</strong> </p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Assist in creating and updating architecture artifacts such as blueprints, solution diagrams, and decision logs. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Organize and maintain architecture repositories to ensure accessibility and compliance with standards. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Review existing documentation for accuracy and completeness, proposing improvements where needed. </li></ul><p><strong>2. Process Improvement</strong> </p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Analyze current architecture processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and standardization. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Support the development of templates, guidelines, and best practices for architecture deliverables. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Collaborate with architects to document workflows and governance steps. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Conduct research on emerging architecture tools and methodologies. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Benchmark internal practices against industry standards and provide recommendations. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Participate in architecture working group meetings and contribute to discussions. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Work closely with Solution Architects, Data Architects, and other stakeholders to gather inputs for documentation. </li></ul><p><strong>3.
