TPRMO is responsible for managing risks associated with third-party vendors and outsourcing arrangements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks. The function oversees risk assessments, policy implementation, and performance monitoring throughout the engagement lifecycle, supporting operational resilience and effective vendor management across the organization.

SCOPE OF WORK/RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Reporting to the Manager of Third-Party Risk Management & Outsourcing, Procurement, the intern will support and assist the day-to-day third-party risk management & outsourcing operational tasks following the applicable regulatory requirements and guidelines, and internal policies and procedures.

 

Key Assignment Work

 

  • Assist in verifying the requirements when conducting risk assessment for new and renewal third-party engagements.

  • Help prepare risk reports and dashboards for governance committees.

  • Participate in vendor performance monitoring, including KPI and SLA tracking.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within third-party risk management.

  • Performing contact reconciliation in accordance with pre-defined deadlines.

 

Administrative work

  • Coordinate with stakeholders for missing or incomplete information required for risk assessments.

  • Follow up on pending responses and ensure timely submission of required details

  • Maintain and update contract registers and risk assessment records.

  • Assist in data entry and reporting for internal systems and compliance logs.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Procurement, or related disciplines.

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Gain knowledge of outsourcing regulations (e.g., BNM Policy) and internal governance standards.

  • Learn how to assess, classify, and monitor third-party risks in a real business environment.

  • Enhance communication & coordination skills by engaging with multiple stakeholders and managing timelines.
