Function: Market Insights within Product Line Management

Location: Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, Spain.

Line Manager’s Job Title: Product Manager 

Contract Type: Temporary

Location: Fully On-Site, 5 days a week

 

Job Purpose 

 

Inquisitive, astute and analytical individual who enjoys understanding and interpreting data points and market intelligence. Recent graduate looking for work experience or student looking for internship of 6 to 9 months.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research by analysing internal and external data sources; leverage databases, industry articles and macro-economic trends to support commercial decision-making
  • Complile reports on key market trends / changing market environment 
  • Support customer and competitive mapping; identify and map products, markets, brands, packaging types, product launches and strategies using desktop research
  • Work collaboratively across a set of stakeholders to gather the correct information and create clear & informative reports

 

Experience & skills required

  • Ability to draw and interpret information from diverse and varied sources 
  • Strong interest in market analysis, secondary databases and research. Experience in Excel, Powerpoint and PowerBI required. 
  • Demonstrates attention to detail through diligent documentation of methodology, data sources and assumptions
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrix environment and has passion for connecting research, data and insights to advance broader business goals
  • Collaborative work style, team player and relationship builder
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. High proficiency in English is required
