About the Role

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Procurement intern at MKS Inc, you will partner with Procurement team to support daily procurement work. In this role, you will report to the Sr Purchasing manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:
 

  • Supplier Data Management: Collect and organize supplier information, performance metrics, and market trend analyses to strengthen data-driven decision-making.

  • Reporting & Analytics Support: Assist buyer in preparing monthly/weekly reports, performance dashboards, and cost analyses for procurement activities.

  • Data Maintenance: supporting buyers with daily tasks like system updates, data entry etc.

  • Purchase Order Operations: Support buyer in order placement, delivery tracking, and invoice verification to maintain operational efficiency.

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Liaise with other departments to facilitate the submission and approval of daily purchase documents.

  • Contribute to APAC newsletter compilation and download reports/data from Oracle/SAP systems as needed.

  • Not just doing daily routine, we need them to see our process in fresh eyes and suggest improvement.

  • Make sure they have 1 project each to complete and helping us to improve efficiency.


Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Purchasing, Engineering or related field; or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English for work environment is a must.

  • Outstanding written/verbal communication, with good presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Good computer literacy at PowerBI, PowerPoint, Word and Excel (Pivot Tables, chart creation, VLOOKUP).

  • Good sport skill like Ping Pang, Badminton etc.


Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for 85% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery

  • Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
