Your Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Student to join our Human Resources team. The individual will be a shared resource between our Regional Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a student to experience and participate in many key human resources functions that impact the employee life cycle. This will be a 4-month full-time term position starting in May 2026. The preferred location of this position is based out of our Vancouver office. 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist HR Business Partners with activities related to engagement, retention, compensation, and workforce planning.
  • Support the talent acquisition process by completing requisitions and supporting Hiring Managers.
  • Respond to employee enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Organise, prioritise, and process administrative requests such as running and analyzing reports, preparing presentations, completing grant applications, verifying background checks, and compiling information for audits.
  • Participate in Global HR calls and assist with organizational-wide human resource programs, projects or initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with relevant HR administrative tasks as required.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
