About the Role
<p><strong>Social Impact Intern</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a purpose-drive, curious, and proactive Social Impact Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience with supporting research, internal communications, content development, community engagement, and events—within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.</p> <p><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with researching and vetting potential charitable grant recipients, collecting and analyzing information, and conducting outreach to individuals and organizations.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Support the development of clear, on-brand messaging for internal channels, including email, Instagram, newsletters, blog posts, and an internal intranet platform.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Contribute to the planning and execution of in-person and virtual social impact activations for employees, partners, and other key stakeholders.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Develop strategies and materials that strengthen engagement with our giving partners and amplify their impact stories.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Support the creation and updating of quarterly impact reports by compiling data and insights from partner activities and campaigns.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Passion for social impact, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong critical thinking and research skills with the ability to synthesize data.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Excellent writing skills with an eye for engaging and on-brand messaging.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media platforms is a plus.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Organized with strong attention to detail.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong interpersonal and communication skills.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience volunteering with a charity/nonprofit, fundraising, or event planning an asset.<br>This internship is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in social impact, corporate social responsibility, international development, and philanthropy while contributing to meaningful projects that support our corporate foundation’s mission of using travel for good.&nbsp;</p> <p>We are committed to providing employment accommodation in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
