Accertify is looking to expand its global fraud-fighting team with the Accertify Accelerate Internship Program. The program aims to deliver exceptional digital experiences by researching and making decisions regarding high-risk e-commerce transactions for clients across industries. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain professional development experience in this field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Identify fraudulent transactions, powering exceptional client results
  • Collaborate with a team of industry experts to monitor real-time fraud decisioning software
  • Independently resolve problems that require in-depth investigation and/or research
  • Collaborate with fraud prevention specialists to optimize risk management strategies
  • Communicate emerging fraud patterns and insights to stakeholders
  • Develop professional skills such as creating a resume, networking, and more

Qualifications: 

  • Full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with two years of college completed by May 2026
    • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Displays confidence in making decisions quickly and independently
  • Previous work experience or proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong internet research skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems at once

Additional Requirements: 

  • Location: 2 Pierce Place, Suite 900, Itasca, IL 60143
  • Workplace Flexibility: On-Site (4 days in-office per week)
  • Full-time, 40-hour week position
  • Monday – Thursday 8 am-6 pm CST (4x10 work schedule)
  • Internship program runs from June 1st to July 31st (9 weeks)
  • Interns are allowed three non-paid days off throughout the 9-week program; they must work with their hiring leader to coordinate these days
  • Interns will have two non-paid holidays during the program (Juneteenth and Independence Day)
  • The expected hourly rate for this position is $20 per hour
  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work for Accertify in the U.S. is required, as Accertify will not pursue Visa sponsorship for this position.
