Mechanical Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a team member within the New Product Development Engineering group providing product testing and design support for new and existing medical devices
- Conduct product verification testing and generate test reports
- Conduct subsystem and component design using 3D modeling and generate prototypes using 3D printing technology
Qualifications:
- Education: Pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
- Possess a solid foundation in mechanical engineering theory
- Fundamental knowledge of 3D modeling
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with the MS office applications
- Pluses:
- Experience using SolidWorks for generating parts, drawings, and assemblies
- Electrical-mechanical theory
Electrical Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a team member within the New Product Development Engineering group providing electrical testing and design support for new and existing medical devices
- Conduct product verification testing and generate test reports
- Integrate and troubleshoot embedded software within hardware platforms
Qualifications:
- Education: Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
- Fundamental knowledge of circuit analysis and design
- Knowledge of embedded systems development
- Strong communications skills, both written & verbal
- Familiarity with the MS office applications
- Pluses:
- Working knowledge of real time operating systems
- Experience with .NET, Labview, or Delphi
Software Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a team member within the New Product Development Engineering group providing software testing and design support for new and existing medical devices
- Integrate and troubleshoot software
Qualifications:
- Education: Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science
- Possess a solid foundation in computer science theory, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Proficient in C#, Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Delphi or comparable programming languages
- Strong communications skills, both written & verbal
- Familiarity with the Windows environment (programming in the Visual Studio IDE)
- Pluses:
- User Interface design
- Mobile development experience, such as Android and iOS
- Familiarity with the Mac environment (programming in the Xcode IDE)
Firmware Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a team member within the New Product Development Engineering group providing embedded software testing and design support for new and existing medical devices
- Conduct product verification testing and generate test reports
- Integrate and troubleshoot embedded software within hardware platforms
Qualifications:
- Education: Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Possess a solid foundation in computer science theory, with emphasis in programming
- Experience with ANSI C or C++ programming language
- Fundamental knowledge of circuit design
- Strong communications skills, both written & verbal
- Familiarity with the MS office applications
- Pluses:
- Working knowledge of real time operating systems
- Experience with .NET, Labview, or Delphi
