About the Role

Toyota Motor Europe’s B2C Connected Services team seeks an intern to support its shift toward software-driven mobility. The role involves market research, subscription analysis, customer journey design, business case development, and launching connected services through mobile apps, collaborating with R&D, IT, and marketing teams in a dynamic, international environment.

Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

 

B2C Connected Services team is responsible for providing valuable Connected Services with memorable UX experience for Toyota & Lexus customers via companion mobile Application (MyToyota; Lexus Link+). We are responsible for planning, developing, and managing connected services for our automotive products. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including R&D, IT, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of connected services.

 

Mission: Support the transition of Toyota from automobile to a software driven mobility company

 

Your project

 

  • Conduct market research, subscription benchmarking, and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, willingness‑to‑pay, digital ecosystem expectations, and emerging subscription trends.
  • Continuously analyse funnel performance and introduce improvements to reduce churn and improve engagement
  • Translate insights into value propositions, use cases, and new subscription opportunities.
  • Create Customer Journey, Product Requirements and target User Experience for new Connected Services
  • Justify Business case and work with Agile Mobile App Development team to deliver
  • Plan Marketing and launch activities for new products and services

 

Your Profile

  • You have interest in Digital, IoT/Connected Services products
  • You know the basics of Product Planning and Project Management
  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data, identify issues in subscription funnels, and propose research hypothesis and improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Beneficial to have a knowledge of software development and integration processes

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
