Job Title:   U.S. Communications – Summer Intern 2026

Location:   Miami, FL

Description

The U.S. Communications Summer Intern will support assigned projects focused on developing copy an artwork for editorial deliverables and managing the U.S. editorial calendar, under the supervision of the Sr. Communications Specialist. This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate communications, brand standards, and editorial planning within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may vary by department but typically include:

  • Support assigned communications projects by assisting with the development of editorial deliverable, including copy and artwork.

  • Assist in managing and maintaining the U.S. editorial calendar to support planned communications initiatives.

  • Ensure editorial deliverables align with corporate brand standards and messaging guidelines.

  • Coordinate updates to the editorial calendar based on editorial planning discussions and feedback.

  • Prepare and deliver weekly updates on editorial calendar status and upcoming deliverables.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support timely and accurate execution of communications initiatives.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning, coordination, and executions efforts as needed.

  • Uphold Galderma’s values through proactive communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Objectives:

  • Editorial deliverables (copy and artwork) are completed accurately, aligned with corporate brand standards, and delivered on time.

  • Editorial calendar is maintained and updated weekly, aligned with editorial planning discussions and priorities.

Key Deliverable:

  • Up-to-date weekly editorial calendar for the U.S. organization.

  • Weekly editorial content submission, including copy and artwork, aligned to brand standards and timelines.

Learning Objectives:

Interns will gain exposure and hands-on experience in:

  • Corporate communications within a global dermatology organization.

  • Editorial planning, content development, and calendar management.

  • Applying corporate brand standards to real world communications deliverables.

  • Strengthening written communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.

  • Working collaboratively within a cross-functional corporate environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public relations, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in corporate communications, content development, or brand storytelling.

  • Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • High attention to detail and willingness to learn.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, SharePoint); familiarity with content or design tools is a plus.
