WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Perform site safety audits.
  • Assist with Incident and Injury analysis.
  • Support specific site safety requirements.
  • Drug testing – DOT.
  • Schedule/setup/register employees for site-specific training (online and in person).
  • Ensure equipment inspections are conducted & up-to-date with inspections
  • Assist & conduct new employee orientation training.
  • Support general safety training.
  • Review and coach employees on properly filling out JSAs, electronic vehicle inspection forms, etc.
  • Assist the safety manager with scanning, filing, and submitting JSAs, entering safety training, and other safety documentation.
  • Distribute/replace safety equipment when needed. Assist with the Geotab vehicle monitoring system.
  • Assist with safety-related administrative duties.
  • Network with other interns and participate in a group Capstone Project.



WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM

We are seeking driven, talented students pursuing degrees in Occupational Health and Safety who have completed their sophomore year by May 2026. Ideal candidates are able to dedicate 8-10 weeks to our internship and are passionate about contributing to continuous improvement in our organization. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a drug test are required.
