Working closely with the Risk Director and Risk Analyst, you will help maintain the enterprise risk register, support risk assessments, and assist with reporting—enabling the Risk team to focus on judgment, facilitation, and executive engagement.<br>Zinnia’s <strong>10-week Internship Program (May 26, 2026 - July 31, 2026)</strong> provides hands-on, real-world experience through projects that directly support business objectives.<br><br><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO:</strong></div> <ul> <li>Assist in documenting and maintaining enterprise risks in AuditBoard, including risk descriptions, ownership, scoring, and review dates.</li> <li>Track updates from risk owners and flag stale or overdue items.</li> <li>Support preparation for risk assessments and workshops by drafting agendas, compiling materials, and documenting outputs.</li> <li>Capture and summarize risks identified during discussions and help translate qualitative input into structured risk statements.</li> <li>Conduct research on industry trends, regulatory developments, and peer risk disclosures.</li> <li>Assist with risk dashboards, heat maps, and trend summaries for executive and board reporting.</li> <li>Track action items, follow up with stakeholders, and maintain organized documentation and version control.</li> </ul> <div><strong>WHAT YOU’LL NEED:</strong></div> <ul data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.</li> <li>Strong interest in enterprise risk management, governance, or compliance.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li> <li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.</li> </ul> <div><strong>BONUS POINTS:</strong></div> <ul data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li>Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Familiarity with risk frameworks (e.g., COSO ERM) or GRC tools (e.g., AuditBoard).</li> <li>Comfortable coordinating with stakeholders and managing follow-ups.</li> <li>Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Zinnia offers excellent career progression and competitive compensation. The expected hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00, dependent on skills and location. The hourly range is a good faith estimate based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.
