About the Role

Join Our Team as a Sales & Marketing Intern at the Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Cary!

At Parks Hospitality Group, we are seeking a Sales & Marketing Intern to support our hotel sales efforts, with a primary focus on learning revenue generation, client outreach, and market positioning. This role offers hands-on exposure to hotel sales strategy, account management, and marketing initiatives, with some involvement in events and group business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the sales team with lead generation, prospecting, and account research.
  • Assist with responding to sales inquiries, preparing proposals, and maintaining client files.
  • Learn how group and transient sales are booked, tracked, and forecasted.
  • Help maintain sales databases, reports, and CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing efforts, including promotions, social media content, and sales collateral.
  • Shadow sales calls, site tours, and client meetings to gain real-world sales experience.
  • Assist with event-related sales coordination as needed.
  • Participate in sales meetings and contribute ideas to support revenue growth and market visibility.

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently enrolled in hospitality management, marketing, business, or a related degree program (minimum GPA of 3.0).
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Interest in sales, marketing, and relationship-building within the hospitality industry.
  • Comfort working with data, reports, and basic sales metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and willingness to learn through hands-on experience.
