With technology proven over years of self-driving deployments, Nuro gives the automakers and mobility platforms a clear path to AVs at commercial scale—empowering a safer, richer, and more connected future.</p> <h3><strong>Role Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Develop software for pose estimation and evaluation using IMU, Wheel, GNSS</li> <li>Develop tools for data and statistics collection and analysis&nbsp;</li> <li>Work closely with autonomy software engineers to meet project timelines</li> </ul> <h3>Role Requirements:&nbsp;</h3> <ul> <li>Strong C or C++ programming skills</li> <li>Good computer science fundamentals, e.g. data structures, concurrency and algorithm design</li> <li>Good understanding of pose estimation, SLAM, probabilistic filtering, 3D geometry</li> <li>Good problem solving and debugging skills</li> <li>Good communication and collaboration skills</li> </ul> <h3>Must Haves:</h3> <ul> <li>Graduation date in or before December 2027</li> <li>Robotics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to Haves:&nbsp;</h3> <ul> <li>MS or PhD students</li> <li>Proficient with Kalman Filtering, GNSS, IMU, Wheel encoder, Lidar</li> <li>Proficient with device driver development</li> <li>Knowledge of AV safety standards</li> <li>Knowledge of self driving stack, autonomy, controls, etc.</li> </ul> <p><em>At Nuro, we celebrate differences and are committed to a diverse workplace that fosters inclusion and psychological safety for all employees.
