This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on&nbsp;</span><span data-contrast="auto">high-impact data and analytics initiatives</span><span data-contrast="auto">&nbsp;that directly support our Distribution Technology organization, including distribution centers (DCs) and third-party&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;providers (3PLs).</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">As an intern, you will help design and build&nbsp;</span><span data-contrast="auto">data pipelines, analytical models, and&nbsp;reporting&nbsp;solutions</span><span data-contrast="auto"> that improve operational visibility across inventory, 4-wall activities, orders, shipments, and fulfillment performance. Your work will contribute to foundational capabilities accelerating ALO’s continued growth.</span></p> <p><span data-ccp-props="{}">The ALO internship programs starts June 8th and ends July 31st. to the development of&nbsp;</span><span data-contrast="auto">ThoughtSpot dashboards and insights</span><span data-contrast="auto"> that allow business users to self-serve key distribution and&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;metrics</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Collaborate with Business Analysts and Business stakeholders to help define problem statements, document requirements, and translate business questions into analytical solutions</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Create and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;</span><span data-contrast="auto">technical documentation</span><span data-contrast="auto">, including data flow diagrams, source-to-target mappings, and metric definitions</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Validate data accuracy and consistency across systems, assisting with reconciliation, anomaly detection, and data quality checks</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Work with internal and third-party development teams by reviewing requirements, clarifying technical questions, and providing feedback on delivered solutions</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Learn and apply best practices for data engineering, analytics engineering, and enterprise reporting in a real-world environment</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Currently&nbsp;pursuing a degree in&nbsp;</span><span data-contrast="auto">Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong working knowledge of&nbsp;</span><span data-contrast="auto">SQL</span><span data-contrast="auto"> and relational databases</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience with or exposure to&nbsp;</span><span data-contrast="auto">data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and analytical workflows</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Familiarity with one or more programming or scripting languages such as&nbsp;</span><span data-contrast="auto">Python, Java, or C#</span><span data-contrast="auto"> is a plus</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Interest&nbsp;in&nbsp;</span><span data-contrast="auto">data analytics, business intelligence, and operational reporting</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with ambiguous class="p1">The base pay range for this position is $45/hr-$50/hr which represents the current range for the non-exempt position.
