This role is designed for a highly motivated, intellectually curious individual with a strong interest in global mobility, immigration law, and the legal frameworks that support international service delivery.

The role will provide structured exposure to both:

  • Immigration legal practice (services offered to clients, case workflows, and regulatory considerations), and

Key Responsibilities

Immigration Practice Exposure

  • Support immigration attorneys and case teams with research related to immigration laws, policies, and practices across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assist with understanding and documenting Vialto’s immigration service offerings and client engagement models.
  • Help prepare internal summaries, process maps, and briefing materials related to immigration services.
  • Gain insight into the impact of immigration laws on individuals, families, and cross-border assets.

Legal Contracting & LRC Support

  • Support analysis of contractual terms, regulatory considerations, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
  • Participate in research related to global contracting structures and legal frameworks supporting service delivery.
  • Help maintain internal documentation related to contracting standards and legal processes.

Cross-Functional Learning & Development

  • Rotate between Immigration legal teams and LRC to develop a holistic understanding of Vialto’s legal and service-line operations.
  • Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Contribute to special projects related to global mobility, immigration trends, or legal process improvements.

Qualifications

Required

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (or recent graduate) with coursework related to international relations, law, political science, global studies, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in global mobility, immigration, and cross-border legal issues.
  • Exceptional intellectual curiosity and ability to ask thoughtful, well-researched questions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple commitments and deadlines effectively.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience with Model United Nations, student government, academic publications, or similar leadership activities.
  • Exposure to legal, immigration, or international policy coursework.
  • Interest in understanding the intersection of law, business, and global service delivery.

Key Competencies

  • Analytical thinking
  • Strong work ethic and time management
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Cross-cultural awareness
  • Initiative and independence
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams
