About the Role
We are looking for a creative and organized Employee Communications & Experience Intern to join our London People Team for Summer 2026!

Reporting to the Employee Experience & Communications Manager, you will play a key role in bringing our culture to life. This is not a "coffee-fetching" internship. You will be hands-on in executing internal communications, supporting social and wellness events, and driving engagement initiatives that make Trayport a fantastic place to work.

If you are a storyteller who loves planning events, has an eye for design, and wants to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced tech environment, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Internal Communications: Draft, edit, and publish engaging content for our internal channels (Intranet, Google Chat, Digital Screens). You will ensure all news is up-to-date, visually appealing, and aligned with our company voice.

  • Event Management: Assist in planning and coordinating company-wide social events (both in-person at our London HQ and virtual), including summer socials, wellness workshops, and themed events.

  • Logistics & Coordination: Support the "behind the scenes" details for Company Meetings and Town Halls, including calendar management, slide deck preparation, and tech setup.

  • Employee Engagement: Research and plan creative ideas within our summer months that could celebrate special events within themes such as  “employee wellbeing” or ED&I

  • CSR & Charity: Provide support for our charitable giving programs, coordinating volunteer days and tracking fundraising efforts.

  • Design & Brand: Collaborate with the Marketing team to create dynamic imagery and digital assets (infographics, posters, banners) that support our internal campaigns.

  • Operational Support: assist with budget tracking for events, manage distribution lists, and support the office support team with set up for monthly/annual events.

Who You Are?

  • Education: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Media, or a related field (aiming for a 2:1 or higher).

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adjust tone for different audiences.

  • Organisational Skills: Highly service-oriented with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and logistics in a fast-paced environment.

  • Digital Fluency: Comfortable learning new platforms quickly (CMS, Intranets, Project Management tools).

  • Design Eye: Basic knowledge of design principles and a strong aesthetic sense.

  • People Person: You are adaptable, comfortable building relationships in a hybrid environment, and enthusiastic about company culture.

  • Eligibility: Must have the Right to Work in the UK for the duration of the internship.

Nice to Haves

  • Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign).

  • Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets) or Microsoft Office 365.

  • Basic HTML knowledge or experience managing a CMS (Content Management System).

  • Experience with video editing (for social/internal clips) is a plus.

Trayport is committed to creating and sustaining a collegial work environment in which all individuals are treated with dignity and respect and one which reflects the diversity of the community in which we operate. We provide accommodations for applicants and employees who require it.
