Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Join us for an exciting summer!  We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Engineering Project Management team as a Engineering Project Management intern.

 

As a Engineering Project Management intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the launch of a highly automated assembly line for professional-grade battery packs. This role offers exposure to advanced manufacturing systems, cross-functional project collaboration, and production readiness activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

In this role, you will assist with assembly line setup and installation, support production trials and validation efforts, track and analyze scrap, and help develop clear work instructions for operators. You will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to support project milestones and contribute to continuous improvement and quality outcomes.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the organization, set up, and installation of a brand-new, highly automated assembly line for professional grade battery packs
  • Assist in preparing for and executing production trial runs, validations, and testing activities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and external suppliers to drive project milestones
  • Track scrap, perform root cause analysis, develop corrective actions, and present findings to stakeholders
  • Develop clear, detailed assembly work instructions for the operations team

 

Internship Goals:

  • Develop effective cross‑departmental and external communication skills
  • Gain hands-on experience in measuring and supporting the success of a manufacturing launch
  • Learn how to prepare, validate, and execute new manufacturing equipment and highly automated production processes

Specifications

Academic Year: Junior, Senior
