  • Gain hands-on, real-world experience within a leading industry, working on meaningful projects that contribute to day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives
  • Volunteer to assist with company events such as the Family Picnic, Employee Summit, Manufacturing Technology Summer Camp, and other events as needed.
  • Complete a final presentation outlining their internship experience, which may be presented to their direct supervisor and colleagues.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to projects, team collaboration, and professional development opportunities designed to prepare them for future careers.
  • Participate in learning sessions, networking opportunities, and community-building activities across the organization.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Join us for an exciting summer!  We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Product Management team as a intern.

 

As a Product Management intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting product strategy, competitive analysis, and cross-regional coordination within a dynamic consumer products environment. This role offers exposure to digital tool development, go-to-market support, competitive benchmarking, and customer-driven product research while working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams.

 

In this role, you will contribute to projects that improve internal processes, enhance customer-facing resources, analyze competitive trends, and support product performance testing. You will help translate data and market insights into tools, reports, and materials that inform product decisions, positioning, and future development strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing a Power App to streamline communication, form selection, and data sharing for product and tooling requests
  • Support go-to-market execution for in-year product introduction
  • Research and document compatibility and applications for cutting attachments and accessories
  • Conduct competitive comparisons of product performance, durability, and usability
  • Support creation of customer-facing materials such as brochures or online content
  • Perform competitive landscape analysis across major brands and product categories
  • Help build competitive matrices, feature gap analyses, and positioning recommendations
  • Support regionalization efforts by assisting with product data alignment and NPD sell sheets
  • Participate in product benchmarking and lab/field performance testing
  • Assist in creating internal scorecards, market requirement documents (MRDs), and competitive messaging
  • Support development of processes for homeowner product testing and feedback collection
  • Help design surveys, incentive programs, and data tracking methods for consumer insights
