Summer 2026 Internship - Treasury Technology

<p>Verition’s Summer Internship Program – Treasury Technology.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Credit, Fixed Income &amp; Macro, Convertible &amp; Volatility Arbitrage, Event-Driven, Equity Long/Short &amp; Capital Markets, and Quantitative Strategies.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>As part of our 10-week internship program, you’ll work closely with the Treasury Technology team to enhance your skill set and apply your studies to a wide variety of projects. Our program provides ample opportunities to learn about alternative investments, gain hands-on experience, and contribute meaningfully to a fast-growing firm.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in finance, applied mathematics, statistics, business, or related field of study.</li> <li>Strong understanding of foundational statistical concepts, data analysis, and mathematical modeling principles.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and present findings clearly.</li> <li>Strong SQL and comfort working with large datasets;</li> <li>Proficiency in at least one general-purpose language (Python preferred; Java/C#/C++ acceptable)</li> <li>Nice to have: &nbsp;Experience with Linux/Unix, Git, and scripting. Familiarity with ETL/data pipelines, file parsing/validation (CSV/JSON/XML), and job scheduling/orchestration concepts. Ability to write clear, testable code, troubleshoot production issues, and communicate progress.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.</li> <li>Demonstrated interest in hedge funds/financial services.</li> <li>Intellectually curious, self-motivated, and collaborative individuals.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Salary for this role is $40 per hour.&nbsp;</em></p>
