About the Role

Internships are Monday through Friday for 40 hours a week. Our Purchasing Interns are involved in the procurement of electronic components being sourced around the world alongside our global team. Giving them exposure to different commodities and their process of getting to their end destinations of computers, vehicles, medical devices and so much more.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor market pricing and adjust prices according to designated profit margin
  • Strength relationships with vendors to ensure best pricing, lead times, etc
  • Learn the semiconductor ecosystem (ODM, OEM, EMS, franchised distributors, brokers, etc) through identifying potential suppliers
  • Navigate the CRM to source, negotiate and expedite purchase orders (POs)

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s in business, sales, industrial distribution or a related field
  • Participation in extracurricular activities to demonstrate time management and multitasking skills

Dates: Monday, June 1st to Friday, August 7th (10 weeks)
