Description
The Deposit Operations department is preparing for a comprehensive summer 2026 internship program in key operational areas, including IRA account management, ATM/Debit card processes, dispute resolution, and daily deposit activities.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
1. Daily Operations:
- Folding and preparing member correspondence for mailing.
- Delivering mail and checks to branches for processing.
- Assisting with the daily mail and mailbox management.
- Updating and maintaining account records, including IRA accounts.
2. Account Management & Data Maintenance:
- Performing IRA account scrubs and verifying account ownership information.
- Maintaining the Sunsetting ABA# Draft List and entering relevant account information.
- Reviewing and updating Activation Dates, CP35 Activated Card Reports, and TS10 ATM Activity Reports.
- Using tools such as Ascensus, Symitar, ARCU, and Client Central for account research and updates.
3. Reporting & Compliance Support:
- Supporting Reg E Dispute Log cleanup and dispute case tracking.
- Reviewing dispute cases in Dispute Expert to verify final letters and documentation.
- Learning regulatory requirements related to ATM/Debit card disputes.
- Generating operational and exception reports to assist staff decision-making.
4. Training and Skill Development:
- Participating in hands-on training for key systems, including Symitar, Ascensus, Client Central, and iDentifi.
- Completing structured orientation modules on Deposit Operations processes, IRA management, and Card/ATM functions.
- Shadowing experienced staff on account review, reporting, and regulatory compliance procedures.
5. Administrative Support & Special Projects:
- Assisting with form updates, letters, and communications to members.
- Learning and applying internal procedures for recordkeeping, filing, and system navigation.
- Supporting the team in ad hoc tasks such as report generation, account audits, and cross-department coordination.
Requirements
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle projects.
- Strong Interpersonal, problem solving, and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.
- Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Computer Skills

The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour and is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
