About the Role

Position Summary

As a Moran Summer Intern, you will work on meaningful projects, collaborate with talented professionals across the organization, and contribute to new initiatives that support our business. This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship running from June through August, designed to provide hands-on exposure to Moran’s operations. Internship opportunities will be available across corporate departments. On your application, please list 1-2 departments or areas of interest you would like to be considered for.

Interns will be fully immersed in day-to-day business activities, shadowing teams to gain insight into how the organization operates while contributing to real projects aligned with their field of study.

Through mentorship, collaboration, and progressively increased responsibility, interns will develop the professional and interpersonal skills necessary for long-term career success. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time employment opportunities with Moran upon graduation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:

  • Supporting departmental projects and daily operational activities
  • Assisting cross-functional teams by preparing presentations, maintaining trackers, and summarizing key findings
  • Shadowing senior team members to learn core business functions and professional workplace standards
  • Participating in role-specific assignments, with detailed responsibilities outlined during onboarding

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship; compensation is provided on an hourly basis
  • Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the internship
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a declared major
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of assignments
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent tasks

Physical demands of this position include being able to:

  • Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Frequently walk.
  • Frequently reach with hands and arms.
  • Finger dexterity for handling paper and typing.
  • Occasionally crouch and stoop.
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Speak, hear, and see (close vision and color vision).
