About the Role

Program Dates: June 1 - August 7, 2026

Compensation: $17 per hour

Role: Hybrid - NYC, NY

As an Intern you will spend 10 weeks gaining firsthand experience working as a contributing member of the RapidRatings team. Through our Program’s Core Curriculum, you can look forward to your summer with us be guided every step of the way, exposing you to all facets of the Company and the industry we operate in.


At the end of the summer, our goal for all interns is that they leave the program with enough hands-on experience to help them to make guided and educated decisions about the next steps they take on their career paths. Altogether, interns will walk away from RapidRatings with knowledge of more than just the area they were designated to work with for the summer.


About the Opportunity:

 

Join our organization as a Legal Intern. As a Legal Intern, you will play a key role in facilitating legal organization contract and data management. As a member of the team, you will coordinate closely with our contract management, finance, and sales teams to help improve our visibility into our contractual obligations.

A successful candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter, with high energy, positive presence, a team player mentality, and a willingness to take coaching advice and apply it immediately. This position would be perfect for someone looking to understand how corporate legal departments are organized and how infrastructure and tools can be used to facilitate corporate legal functions.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify key provisions of sales contracts, including non-disclosure agreements and services contracts
  • Record, organize, track, and manage all legal contract data based on key provisions
  • Create reporting functionality for different data types
  • Update and develop legal data policies and procedures with the team
  • Prepare analytics or executive summaries regarding contract terms upon request

  • Solid communication skills both verbal and written
  • Critical comprehensive reading skills, legal or contract reading experience a plus
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Strong analytical thinker and problem solver

Note: Our NYC and Boston offices are open with continued options of hybrid on-site/remote working. We understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and we will work with you to explore suitable options. Expectation for this role is 2 days a week in the office to interact with other interns.
