About the Role

Sky Italia is looking for a talented intern for our Finance Entertainment team, located in Milan.

The intern will be involved in all the activities related to the cost controlling (Budget & Forecasting, Long Range Plan, variance analysis) of rights acquisitions and production costs of the Entertainment area, including Sky Cinema and Series, Sky Uno, TV8.

Main activities

  • Monitoring of rights acquisitions negotiation with main local and international distribution players against the assigned budget
  • Monitoring of production, operating and general costs against the assigned budget
  • Management of month-end accounting closings; monitoring of pay channel actual costs and KPIs and variance analysis vs target
  • Production of ad-hoc analysis relating to the costs and performance of the area
  • Support to the local and Group editorial team in the evaluation of new negotiations

Main requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of the Office package (Excel and PPT)
  • Structured approach to work with excellent analytical and synthesis skills
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
