About the Role

Purpose of the position:

Under the responsibility of the Circularity & Sustainable packaging manager, you will participate to the deployment of the circularity and sustainable packaging group roadmap.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

o Participate to the definition of group roadmap and follow up the affiliates action plans to reach the sustainable packaging KPIs of the group (e.g. % of certified cardboards), document and escalate in case of risk of missing the target. Analyse the affiliates datas available every 3 months.

o Raise awareness of marketing, procurement and packaging teams to eco design and more specifically, to our circularity strategy and our internal guidelines (Group Packaging Policy).

o Support the team in the creation of products Life cycle analysis (LCA) at group level and participate to the deployment of the group strategy on this topic (creation of process documentation, training support etc. to deploy our strategy to affiliates)

o Support the team on compliance projects linked to evolving regulations on packaging (PPWR - Packaging and Packaging Waste regulation, EUDR - EU regulation on Deforestation-free Products ...)

 

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge and references: curious, rigorous, autonomous, involved and with very good analysis and synthesis skills, a specific appetence for sustainability, all in a good team spirit.
  • Know-how and tools: excellent mastery of the Office package (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and database management
  • Soft skills: endowed with a good relationship, you are ready (e) to evolve in an international environment and are recognized (e) for your capacity to work in team and your sense of the service

 

Size and scope of intervention:

Main contacts: Sustainable business team, R&I (Research & Innovation), Packaging development, Procurement (glass, closures and labels, secondary packaging), Marketing, Quality, Public Affairs.

 

Required profile:

  • Initial training required : Engineering School with ideally a packaging / material or circularity specialization
  • Professional experiences : first experience recommended, ideally in packaging development, eco-design or circularity.
  • Languages to master: fluent English imperative, French is a plus
