About the Role

Position: Video Intern 

Department: Video   

Program Overview: The Lincoln Center Summer Internship is a paid, 10-week, in-person arts administration internship for NYC undergraduate students passionate about the performing arts. This program cultivates the next generation of leaders in the field by providing on-the-job experience and professional development opportunities.

What you’ll get to do:  

  • Edit Captions & Clips 
    • Edit video content and add captions using Premiere Pro, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
    • Trim, enhance, and refine clips to create polished, engaging content.
  • Assist with Camera Operations: 
    • Provide support with minimal camera work during shoots.
    • Assist the production team in setting up and operating camera equipment as needed.
  • Navigate Public Spaces & Engage with People: 
    • Work in public spaces while interacting with a diverse range of individuals.
    • Ensure a professional and friendly demeanor when engaging with the public during shoots.
  • Manage Release Forms: 
    • Gather and organize release forms from participants to obtain permission for content use.
    • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and properly filed for legal compliance.

You'll be a great fit if: 

  • You are a rising college junior, or senior, or equivalent 
  • You are based in New York City or the Greater New York region 
  • You are available 35 hours/week from June 2026 – August 2026
  • You are available on nights and weekends 
  • You MUST have proficiency with Premiere Pro 
  • You are comfortable with the following: 
    • Using Canon Cameras
    • Communicating with both staff and guests in crowded and fast-moving places 
  • You identify as both a self-starter and a dynamic team player 
  • You have strong communication skills. 
    • Familiarity/Experience with Teams, Monday.com, and email to stay aligned on schedules, updates, and deliverables throughout a fast-moving summer season.
  • You exemplify leadership, teamwork, organization, innovation, resilience, inclusivity, and enthusiasm
