The Opportunity

The Marketing & Communications Intern will help define, execute and measure successful Marketing initiatives for the Enterprise Marketing & Communications team. Including client and solutions marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to-day website support tasks needed to maintain functionality, content and performance.
  • Support process for updating, refreshing and building out new content.
  • Assist with the development and creative execution of social media posts.
  • Develop and apply value propositions for Client types for selling a full portfolio of Solutions across existing and new clients.
  • Support planned and ad-hoc marketing campaigns for portfolio offerings drawing on the Solutions Marketing resources.
  • Pull monthly dashboard reports on influenced revenue from events and create accompanying recaps for client marketers to share with key stakeholders.
  • Work with client marketers on all event-related planning and execution, including collaboration with the Events team, private event and vendor support, social posts for speakerships, coordinating SME abstract submissions and other duties as assigned.
  • Work in Salesforce to ensure email marketing templates are accessible to CAMs with an understanding of deployment procedure and impact tracking.
  • Move creative requests forward in Wrike through coordination with client marketers and accurate system updates, while serving as the liaison between Creative Services and the client marketing team.
  • Research client needs and determine best solution offerings.
  • Assist client marketers with presentations, monthly report updates, earned media tracking and event calendar updates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)  
  • Current enrollment in Marketing, communications or related degree program preferred.
  • Work experience in marketing related role or internship preferred.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with social media preferred.
  • Understanding of earned, paid and owned marketing tactics and how to deploy each for an expected outcome preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Current enrollment in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Multimedia, Public Relations or a related degree program. No experience required. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Work Environment

This intern position is expected to be in the office on a full-time basis.
