About the Role

Overview

The High School Intern is responsible for assisting office and/or project Staff within an office setting.

 

Responsibilities

Interns learn about Gilbane's support or operations teams in a variety of specialties including accounting, marketing, human resources, estimating, scheduling and other essential duties.

 

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

 

• Currently enrolled in a relevant High School degree program in Glenbard, Oak Park, River Forest or Joliet Schools • Prior exposure to construction industry is a plus • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

 

• Strong communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office
