Job Purpose & Scope

Responsible for assisting the bank’s Enterprise Analytics organization in supporting enterprise-wide data initiatives.


Essential Job Functions

  1. Provide internal stakeholders with analytics, reporting, and insights using internal/external data and analytics tools.
  2. Develop solutions to business problems using critical thinking and creativity.
  3. Extract and transform data using SQL, find data inconsistencies, and resolve data quality issues.
  4. Assist in documenting procedures and running user acceptance testing of the Bank’s procedures.
  5. Participates in, and may lead, meetings with stakeholders to assist with the conveyance of purpose, outline expectations, and collaborate on the development of Programs.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  1. Basic knowledge of quantitative modeling principles and data quality standards.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a broad level of audiences.
  3. Ability to multitask and produce high-quality reports, presentations, and analysis.
  4. Ability to operate and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment with exacting deadlines.
  5. Ability to utilize discretion and sound judgment in decision-making.
  6. Skill in computer and software, including SQL, R or Python, Power BI or Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Basic Qualifications

  1. Current and ongoing enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program concentrating in finance, accounting, economics, business, statistics, data science or related discipline required, graduate program preferred.
  2. Completion of junior level coursework at the time of application required. Completion of some senior level or graduate level coursework at the onset of the program strongly preferred.
  3. Coursework in data analysis, business intelligence or data management required.
  4. Experience in banking, finance, accounting or real estate preferred.
