The FP&A Analyst apprentice supports the Financial Planning & Analysis function by assisting with the monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis. The role helps provide accurate financial insights to support business decision-making, improve financial performance, and ensure effective cost control across the organization. The FP&A Analyst apprentice works closely with senior finance team members to analyse financial data, track key performance indicators, and assist in the preparation of management reports and performance summaries.

 

What are you going to do:

1.Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes by validating financial data and ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
  • Prepare regular management reports and financial presentations to support senior management decision-making.
  • Assist in the monitoring and reporting of financial performance against budget and forecast, including variance analysis and identification of key drivers.

2. Process: Maintain and enhance financial models, templates, and reporting tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.

 

What we are looking for:

Education & Qualifications: Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Fluent in English and/or French.

Experience: Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Specialist Knowledge & Skills: Strong analytical (ability to perform detailed analysis) and problem-solving skills.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across finance and business functions.
