About the Role

Join our community
Community Health Network was created by our neighbors, for our neighbors. Over 60 years later, “community” is still the heart of our organization. It means providing our neighbors with the best care possible, backed by state-of-the-art technology. It means getting involved in the communities we serve through volunteer opportunities and benefits initiatives. It means ensuring our dedicated caregivers can learn and grow to stay at the top of their fields and to better serve our patients. And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you.

We have various internships that will support the Pharmacy department. Options can be discussed in further detail.

The Clinical Pharmacist Intern (Community North) offers a fantastic opportunity to dive into acute care pharmacy, specifically within a cardiology setting, where the intern will gain valuable experience that helps build both clinical and operational skills.  A key part of the role will involve direct patient care, where you will conduct medication history interviews to support the medication reconciliation process.  Beyond patient interactions, you will also get hands-on experience with essential pharmacy operations, learning about inventory control and how automated medication dispensing cabinets work. The Sr. Pharmacy Tech intern (Community Anderson) supports daily operations by assisting with administrative and training projects, such as compiling onboarding materials for new technicians. They may also help implement new systems and contribute to medication safety initiatives that improve overall quality and efficiency.
