Join the Everest 2026 Summer Internship Program!  This is an exciting opportunity to receive exposure to the world of Property & Casualty Reinsurance and Insurance through dynamic training, firsthand business experience, and networking with the industry’s leading experts and experienced professionals.  Throughout the Program, you can expect to build upon the academic foundations you have established at school and apply your learning to real world scenarios.  Successful candidates must possess the requisite permanent US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration.

The Program will run for 10 weeks: June 1 - August 7, 2026

Your Impact & Opportunity 

As an Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the core functions of a global HR department. You are a passionate student who is excited about a career in HR, eager to learn about HR strategy, reporting, systems, processes, and employee experience. Your efforts will support and give you exposure to HR teams—such as People Analytics, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, the HR Business Partner function, and the like.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reporting and Analytics: Assist in compiling data and generating basic reports related to HR metrics
    • Collect, review, and prepare HR data to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis
  • Analyze workforce, recruiting, and engagement data to identify trends and actionable insights
  • Support ad‑hoc HR analytics requests, including data pulls, KPI tracking, and reporting
  • Special Projects: Provide support for various People Services projects, which may include compliance audits or initiatives aimed at improving the overall employee experience
  • This role is essential in helping us maintain accurate data, support our colleagues, and improve our internal processes.
    • Ensure data confidentiality when handling employee information
  • Process Documentation: Help create and update process documentation, job aids, and quick reference guides for employees and managers to promote self-service functions
  • You’ll have the opportunity to develop critical professional skills in communication, problem-solving, and project coordination
  • You can expect mentorship and guidance from experienced HR professionals in the insurance and reinsurance industry
  • Grow and develop while participating in a variety of leader-led professional and personal development workshops, networking events, and the like.

What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications 

  • Successful candidates must possess the requisite permanent US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration.
  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree at an accredited college/university, majoring in HR Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A high degree of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.  
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and collaboration skills. 
  • You thrive in a high volume, fast paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities. 
  • You have a customer-service-oriented mindset with a desire to be helpful and supportive.
  • Familiarity with an HRIS like Workday is preferred, but not required.

The salary for this position is $800 per week. All offers include access to a variety of benefits for the duration of the internship program, including health insurance coverage, 401k match, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
