PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION

As an Account Management Intern, you will support the production divisions at Scott Insurance. Through real-world exposure and projects, you’ll learn what it means to assist clients and manage renewals.  

This will be an on-site position (5 days in-office per week)  

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Assist with day-to-day account management activities including processing endorsements, managing renewal timelines, and responding to client inquiries.
  • Work closely with account management and production teams to learn industry trends and best practices.
  • Attend internal meetings and networking events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree or Master’s program (ideally with a focus in Risk Management & Insurance, HR Management or Business).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Willingness to travel across the Scott Insurance footprint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and Outlook).
