About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for law students in their third year to gain practical experience with an in-house legal department at the intersection of automotive and technology. The ideal candidate has prior automotive legal experience, is passionate about applying the law to solve real-world problems, eager to learn in a collaborative environment, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with senior attorneys to support business teams across IP, privacy, AI, employment law, litigation, trade compliance, and commercial matters. Projects may include conducting legal research and analysis, drafting and reviewing contracts, preparing summaries of and presentations on legal developments, assisting with strategic IP and patent matters for new technologies, and collaborating on cross-functional projects with business stakeholders.
  • Eligibility. This is a paid internship opportunity at $25/hr. A minimum of 24 hours per week is required (flexible hours to accommodate student classes) onsite at our Silicon Valley office.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Current enrollment in Law School and in 3rd year of study


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior automotive legal experience

Additional Information:

The current hourly rate for this position is as follows and may be modified in the future: $23 (Undergraduate Students)/$26 (Graduate Students)
