Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) is a cultural and civic cornerstone of New York City. About the Role

Position: IT & Web Developer Intern 

Department: Digital Experience (DX) 

Program Overview: The Lincoln Center Internship is a paid hybrid (in-person and remote) internship for NYC undergraduates and graduates that helps train the next generation of leaders in Arts & Culture and beyond. The IT & Web Developer intern (also referred to as DX intern) will report to the Product Operations Manager in Digital Experience. The DX intern will gain on-the-job experience working with team members rotating across our five IT sectors/verticals (teams): Consumer Products (Web development), Enterprise Products (enterprise software, commerce, & data stack), Campus Technology (network engineering & help desk), Cybersecurity, and Product Operations.

  • In-person and remote work experience within Lincoln Center’s various sectors/verticals withinDigital Experience
  • Professional development that builds essential technology and office skills, like troubleshooting, proactive planning and communication, knowledge-base building, and more
  • Community building that creates a trusted peer network  with Lincoln Center colleagues
  • Conversation Series that features leaders from across the sector including Lincoln Center and Intern Alumni, through engaging dialogues and Q&A sessions
  • Special Events that make Lincoln Center the world’s leading performing arts center  

What you’ll get to do:  

  • Skill Building/Skill Application opportunities:   
    • Participate in Excel training courses via LinkedIn Learning 
      • Two Excel-based mini projects will be assigned to apply the skills learned from the trainings
    • Create three technology or professional development-related goals to complete before the end of the internship
    • Support our web development efforts on lincolncenter.org and other public-facing digital areas, like digital signage, working within Consumer Products
    • Work with Enterprise Software in SCRUM-style sprint cycles and iterative improvements, and maintain & update our SaaS (Software as a service) landscape
  • Provide Lincoln Center Performing Arts (LCPA) event support, customer and infrastructure-related project support, and general employee support within the Campus Technology vertical
  • Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives and projects within the Cybersecurity team
  • Learn about different types of project and product management, ways of working, and business operations (like budgeting, contracts, etc.) within Product Operations
  • Learn technical writing, including FAQs, policies, guidelines, SOP (standard operating procedures), and writing knowledge base article
  • Join team weekly and monthly meetings
  • Attend weekly 1:1’s with your manager

We are looking for interns who are:  

  • A rising college junior, or senior, or equivalent 
  • Based in New York City or the Greater New York region 
  • Available 35 hours per week from June 2026 – August 2026, with at least 3 in-person days a week
  • Interested in Technology functions and opportunities within their respective major/studies.
  • We'reopen to interns across all majors including English, creative writing, marketing and audio/video (AV)
  • Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Organized and able to work independently and in a team 
  • Looking to work in a collaborative and innovative environment
