SUMMARY: Supports the Marketing Director with day-to-day marketing communications and creative projects by offering hands-on experience in digital marketing, branding, content creation, and campaign support by performing the following duties.
Available to work approximately 15-20 hours per week. Shreveport office location is preferred, though Monroe or Longview may be considered.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assists with creating and updating website content.
· Supports brand consistency across digital and print materials.
· Helps develop social media content, including graphics, short-form videos, and copy.
· Participates in campaign planning, brainstorming, and execution.
· Assists with gathering analytics for website, email, and social media performance reporting.
· Supports graphic design needs using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
· Collaborates with internal teams on marketing initiatives and special projects.
· Provides general marketing coordination support as needed.

· Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism including the ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:
Junior or Senior-level student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or related field from four-year college or university with strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.0).
Other Skills:
Experience in copywriting and content creation with a basic understanding of web design principles required. Familiarity with analytics tools and understanding of basic SEO/SEM principles, and experience with email marketing platforms and project management tools as well as photography, videography, or editing skills are preferred.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Outlook, office equipment, computer hardware and peripheral devices. Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite and/or Canva required.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk or use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
