Confluence Builders is a real estate development company, based in Golden, dedicated to creating meaningful and exceptional places.  We pride ourselves in our collective knowledge, ingenuity and trust.   We are looking for an Accounting Intern who is energetic, fun, entrepreneurial and believes in working hard.  


We are looking for someone with strong personal organizational skills and a positive attitude to assist with office duties and provide support throughout the organization.  The ideal candidate is comfortable with a multi-functional role who is eager to assist throughout the organization. 

Requirements

Essential Job Duties: 

  • Prepare standard monthly journal entries, consistent with GAAP requirements 
  • Perform bank reconciliations  
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts 
  • Assist with month end close process 
  •  Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable 
  • Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and property management operations

Minimum Qualifications

  • In School for a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 
  • Knowledge of general accounting policies, procedures and software
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Excel 
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and to manage multiple priorities 
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed and self-motivated 
  •  Strong work ethic and positive attitude
