About the Role

IT Internship Specification

Position Overview

The IT Internship provides hands-on experience in requirements gathering and validation, system support, and IT operations. Interns will work alongside experienced developers and IT professionals to gain practical skills in software testing, troubleshooting, and supporting ongoing IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and testing applications.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with team members on IT projects.

Required Skills

  • Experience with Word & Excel
  • Familiarity with mail merge/form letters.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL.
  • Coursework in computer science or IT.

Duration & Location

Duration: 12–24 weeks (Spring, Summer 2026)
 Location: Troy, MI (Hybrid option available)
