Full Job Description

Graphic Designer/Production Specialist work in a dynamic, creative, and fast-paced environment to create and assemble sign and graphics for many different business applications. Creative work is performed within the FASTSIGNS Center that is fully equipped with top-of-the-line sign-making equipments.

Responsibilities
  • read and correctly interpret Work Orders;design signs based on VCS written instructions
  • works with co-workers and customers with file transfers, FTP access, photo library options, online proofs, etc
  • takes customer's logos and artworks to produce designs within the client's guidlines.
  • provides proofs and sends to customers using the online proofing system
  • inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to plotter or printer
  • maintains accurate electronic and paper records of File storage and Disks
  • creates computer-generated full-color graphics
  • maintain and make sure all equipment is in good order, including computer, plotter and printer
  • outputs to vinyl that can be weeded, cut, applied, or printed and mounted to various substrates
  • prepares substrates for application and performs finishing operations such as laminating
Qualifations

  • high school diploma or equivalent( preferred)
  • graphic design: 2 years(required)
  • Adobe Illustrator: 2years(required)
  • positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team player mentality a must
This position is more about replicating the client's artworks than creating new art and designs. A great job for someone looking to work more on the production side than the creative side.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
